St. James is located on Woodland Avenue between 68th and 69th Streets in Southwest Philadelphia and can be reached from Center City by Route #11 subway-surface trolley. By automobile take Walnut Street west to 42nd Street, turn left on 42nd Street (south) to Woodland Avenue, turn right on Woodland Avenue and go about two miles.
